I started out playing soccer as a young kid, enjoying time with friends and scoring goals.

Then, in my early teens, I discovered goalkeeping. I became fascinated by goalkeeper gloves — what they were, how they felt, and the sense of armour they gave me. Naturally, that passion meant I got thrown in goal, and I haven’t looked back since.

The feeling — that rush of energy when making a save — is unmatched. It fuelled my passion and curiosity to try every kind of glove I could find. I wanted to understand what made some gloves demand the highest price tags and what set them apart from the rest.

Over time, I realised many brands were overcomplicating things. A great goalkeeper glove doesn’t need gimmicks — it’s something you don’t have to think about, one you can simply trust.

I know the confidence that comes from wearing gloves that make you feel invincible.

That’s why I started Valor Goalkeeping. My lifelong passion for goalkeeper gloves drove me to create what I think is the perfect pair — inspired by the best gloves I’ve ever worn and seen at the highest level, but made accessible to everyone.
